About Me

I worked for many years with children with Special Educational Needs and their families, first as a practitioner and later in a managerial role. I am also a parent of two (now grown-up) children.

I have always had a great interest in and admiration for the ways in which individual people can cope with, and even sometimes transform, difficult and distressing situations. I find it very rewarding to be allowed, through Counselling, to assist in that process.

I can offer you an empathic, confidential and professional service in a safe and secure setting.

I am a member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling.
